1/30: The Best Thing about Product
Product management is a comprehensive job that combines my favorite things:
Working closely with groups of enthusiastic individuals who are experts in their fields and therefore learning a lot on a daily basis;
A diversity of interests and areas, where regardless of your narrow specialization, you become enabled and equipped to operate in all kinds of industries, sectors, and environments;
The feeling of tangible achievement when you and your team have actually built and shipped something.
I love many more things about being a product manager, and I dislike some of them, but the truth is there's no job quite like it, and I think it's great.
